On December 18, 2019, a shocking report emerged from Kisumu County, revealing the death of Erastus Aduda, a well-known Gor Mahia fan.

Aduda's lifeless body was discovered at Chacalika Guest House, where he had been staying, after he went missing on December 8, 2019.

The incident was reported to the DCI in Kisumu, and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is ongoing.

As news of Aduda's passing spread, Gor Mahia fans took to social media to express their grief and pay tribute to their beloved fan.

FC Gor Mahia posted a heartfelt message on Twitter, saying, 'It's with deepest sorrow and pain that we have this morning learnt about the passing on of one of our greatest supporters Mr Erastus Aduda, an amazing soul and a friend to so many. Please keep his family in your prayers.'

Aduda's son, Vincent Aduda, also shared a poignant message on Facebook, expressing his grief and saying, 'Good bye Dad.Rest with the Angel's. Life has not been fair to us the Adudas. But it is well with our soul. Seeing your lifeless body has really finished me. Great GrandPa for me, Great Uncle Fred and Uncle Boss for me. 2019 ulituamulia ni mwaka wa kuzika. We have had enough as the Adidas. Please God give us strength to pass this.'

A minute's silence was observed before every game that weekend in honor of Aduda, a fallen football fan.
