Cracked hands and feet can ruin even the best outfit. But with a little TLC, you can keep your skin healthy and looking great.
Genes, weather changes, and daily activities can all contribute to dry, cracked skin. But with regular care, you can prevent dryness and keep your skin soft and nourished.
Protect your skin by wearing gloves when handling chemicals or washing up, and avoid harsh cleaning products. For your feet, wear the correct shoe size to reduce friction and limit the time you spend with footwear on.
Try making your own hand scrub by mixing together grated ginger, sugar, coconut oil, and lemon juice. Massage the scrub into your hands for three minutes, then rinse and moisturize.
For an extra nourishing treat, try a hand mask made with cinnamon powder, olive oil, and lemon essential oil. Leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes before rinsing and moisturizing.
Don't forget to moisturize your cuticles with a simple cuticle oil made from jojoba oil and lavender essential oil. Massage the oil into your cuticles as frequently as you like.
For soft, baby-soft feet, try a foot scrub made from baby oil and sea salt. Scrub your feet for five minutes, then rinse and moisturize.
Give your feet an extra special treat with a luxurious foot soak made from milk, rosewater, and honey. Soak your feet for 15-20 minutes, then rinse and moisturize.
Remember to moisturize your skin after each treatment to keep it soft and nourished.
