On the night of December 18, 2019, a boda boda rider from Eldoret found himself in a precarious situation after being cornered by a husband who had been suspecting his wife of cheating.
The husband, who worked in an industry along the Eldoret-Nakuru highway, had been away on night shift when he received several calls from neighbors informing him that his wife and the rider were stuck and wailing in pain in their bedroom.
Armed with a heavy club, the husband quickly set off to his house, where he found the lovebirds in a compromising position.
"You are the one who has been having an affair with my wife. You will regret today," the husband fumed as he descended on the bike operator.
The fight was eventually quelled after security personnel from the nearby police camp intervened, separating the two from agony.
The incident has sparked whispers about the woman's alleged payment in kind for the free rides she received from the rider.
