On December 19, 2019, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results were announced, and among the top performers was Maryanne Njeri from Kenya High School.
With an impressive score of 87.087 points, Maryanne was ranked the second-best candidate nationally, narrowly missing the top spot held by Buluma Wabuko Tony from Kapsabet Boys with 87.159 points.
When asked about her achievement, a beaming Maryanne said, "I believed I would do well since I had done my part perfectly but I have to admit that I didn’t expect to be the second top student."
Under Maryanne's leadership, Kenya High School secured the top position with the most grade As (76) in this year's KCSE exams, a testament to her dedication and hard work.
Despite the challenges she faced, Maryanne remained committed to her goals, and her success is a shining example of what can be achieved with perseverance and determination.
