Buluma Tonny emerges top in 2019 KCSE exams

On December 18, 2019, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha announced the top performers in the 2019 Form Four national exams.

Buluma Tonny of Kapsabet High School emerged as the overall best candidate, garnering 87.159 points.

Other top candidates included Barasa Maryanne Njeri of Kenya High School, David Odhiambo of Kapsabet High School, Antony Owuor of Maseno School, Natasha Wawira, Kizito Ezra of Moi High School Kabarak, Longali Chemengat of Alliance Girls School, Hellen Njoki Ndathi, Siela Jelangat of Moi Forces Lanet, and Laura Ruto of St Brigit Kiminini.

According to CS Magoha, there was a notable improvement in performance this year compared to 2018.
