Meet Metrine Kamau and Faith Kasina, two friends who met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. Despite their different interests and goals, they have remained close and have supported each other in their academic pursuits.
According to Metrine, they met in their third year of high school and have been friends ever since. They have been studying together, sharing meals, and participating in various activities as a team.
"We have been friends since then and it has been great. We have asked, eaten, and done everything together, including studying and helping each other," Metrine said in an interview with TUKO.co.ke.
Both Metrine and Faith scored an A- in the 2019 KCSE exams, a testament to their hard work and dedication to their studies. Despite their different interests and goals, they have remained close and have supported each other in their academic pursuits.
"We have achieved A- and I think it's because we have been motivating each other every time," Faith said, beaming with pride.
When asked about their plans for the future, Metrine expressed her desire to pursue a career in science education, while Faith has been hesitant to commit to a specific career path. However, they both agreed that they will continue to be friends, regardless of their future endeavors.
"I expect to study science education. Faith has been hesitant to commit to a specific career path, but I hope she will take up medicine, but we will continue to be friends," Metrine said.
As they look to the future, Metrine and Faith offer words of encouragement to their fellow students, urging them to accept their results and thank God for the opportunities they have been given.
"I advise all students to accept their results and thank God for the opportunities they have been given, even if they did not perform well. We still have plans for them," Metrine said.
