On December 18, 2019, the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results were released by Education CS Prof. George Magoha.
Kenya High School took the top spot with 76 A plain grades, followed closely by Kapsabet Boys High School and Alliance High School.
The top student, Buluma Wabuko Tony from Kapsabet Boys High School, scored an impressive 87.159 points.
Notably, Buluma was also among the top candidates in the 2015 KCPE exam, scoring 433 marks at St. Thomas Aquinas, Nakuru.
CS Magoha reported that 1,309 candidates had their KCSE results canceled due to exam irregularities, with no cases of exam leakage reported.
He also noted a general improvement in this year's countrywide performance compared to the last three years.
