Unlikely Friendship Leads to Academic Success

Metrine Kamau and Faith Kasina, two best friends from Pangani Girls High School, have been inseparable since they met in form three. Their friendship has been a source of inspiration and motivation for both of them, and they attribute their success in the 2019 KCSE to their faith in God and their unwavering support for each other.

According to Metrine, Faith approached her with a proposal to be friends, and she was initially hesitant. However, Faith revealed to her that the Holy Spirit had pushed her to make friends with her, and Metrine was convinced.

Since then, the two friends have been inseparable, praying, dancing, and studying together. They both scored an A- in the 2019 KCSE, and they believe that their friendship was a key factor in their success.

On spirituality, Faith said that they both took time to fast, pray, and read the word of God together. Metrine added that they would often take time to pray and fast together, and it was an amazing journey that influenced her to grow.

Despite having different professional aspirations, the two friends have vowed to continue their friendship, which they believe brings out the best in each other.

When asked about their thoughts on the recently released KCSE results, Metrine urged all candidates to accept their performance and not get discouraged. She said that God has a good plan for everyone, whether they fail or pass.
