On December 18, 2019, Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha announced the release of the 2019 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) headquarters.
The examination, which took place between November 4 and 27, saw a total of 699,745 candidates sitting for the test.
Students and their parents can check their results using an SMS-based platform, available exclusively to Safaricom and Airtel customers.
To access the service, follow these steps:
- Send a new message
- Enter the 11-digit index number of the candidate
- Send the text to 20076
Alternatively, principals of respective schools can download and print the results of their students through the Ministry of Education online portal.
