Google Calendar has been testing a standalone application for Google Tasks since April last year, and the integration is now under seamless management for personal and work diaries.

The new task buttons, once rolled out, will enable users to add to-do list items more easily, giving them a single destination to keep track of important tasks in G Suite.

According to an APK teardown by XDA developers, the integration will bring all reminders from Inbox/Gmail, Calendar, and Assistant under one roof.

Users can access tasks from the right-hand add-on panel in Gmail and Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and set up tasks to repeat monthly, weekly, and even daily.

Additionally, Google Calendar is introducing options to create repeating tasks, task descriptions, and other task-related features.

Tasks added on the task calendar will appear as in the standard calendar view, and users can add accent colors for each task as well as set notifications for each task.

When a task is completed, users can dismiss it directly from the Calendar.
