On December 18, 2019, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru directed her county's service delivery unit to conduct weekly audits of development projects.
The audits aim to identify and address bottlenecks hindering smooth project implementation and ensure that all projects are completed within set timelines.
"We want to find out whether we are performing according to the expectations of the residents who are the beneficiaries," Governor Waiguru said in Kutus, emphasizing the need for quality services and timely project completion.
The audits will also involve engaging with various stakeholders to assess their satisfaction with the services offered by the county government.
Furthermore, Governor Waiguru prioritized creating a conducive environment for traders, urging the team to follow up on concerns raised by the business community and ensure they are addressed satisfactorily.
