According to the results, over 600,000 candidates wrote the tests between November 4 and 27, with 627 students scoring grade A, 5,796 scoring a mean grade of A-, and 125,746 students scoring a mean grade of C+.
Kenya High School emerged as the top-performing school, with 76 students scoring the top grade of A (Plain). Kapsabet Boys High School and Alliance High School followed closely, with 49 and 48 students, respectively, achieving the same grade.
Students can check their results by sending their index number followed by 'KCSE' to 20076 via SMS, at a cost of Sh25.
Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha emphasized the importance of not labeling students as failures, citing examples of students who scored below 300 in KCPE but performed well in KCSE exams.
