Everton Set to Announce Carlo Ancelotti as New Manager

Carlo Ancelotti, a highly experienced Italian manager, is on the verge of becoming the new manager of Everton, a Premier League club. The 60-year-old tactician has previously managed in the Premier League with Chelsea in 2009.

Ancelotti's appointment comes after the controversial sacking of Marcos Silva, who was let go by the club. Everton believes the former Chelsea boss has the managerial experience needed to turn around the club's fortunes.

According to reports, Ancelotti will earn a staggering £14 million per year, making him the third-highest-paid manager in the Premier League. This deal is reportedly worth £11.5 million per year, excluding other benefits.

Ancelotti's appointment is seen as a significant move by Everton, who are currently struggling in the Premier League. The club occupies 16th position on the Premier League standing, three points above the relegation-threatened zone.

Italian giants Napoli recently appointed former AC Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso until the end of the season, replacing Ancelotti who was sacked on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.
