Naivasha, a picturesque town in Nakuru county, is set to become the ultimate destination for love in Africa. The Naivasha Love Festival, an initiative backed by the Nakuru County Government, Kenya Tourism Board, and the Ministry of Tourism, aims to position Naivasha as a premier destination for exclusive weddings and star-studded events.

Slated for February 14th and 15th, 2020, the festival promises to be an annual event, creating product diversification and opening up more tourism opportunities in the region. The theme, 'Feel love, think Naivasha,' captures the essence of the festival, which will celebrate the diversity of love through a delightful mix of fun, culture, food, and music.

Naivasha, with its stunning Lake Naivasha, offers a unique experience for every kind of traveller and tourist. The lake, which dried up at the beginning of the 20th century, has an interesting history, and its return to existence has made it a major attraction in the region.

Mr. Allan Njoroge, speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and the Kenya Tourism Board, noted that the Naivasha Love festival will create new tourism opportunities in the region, moving away from traditional safari and beach products.

With 57 days to go before the festival, it's not too early to start planning. Book your accommodation, save your money, and negotiate with travel agents to make the most of this unique experience.
