December 18, 2019 - Kampala, Uganda

Uganda Cranes secured a spot in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup final after a narrow 1-0 win over Tanzania's Kilimanjaro Stars.

Fahad Bayo scored the winning goal in the 88th minute, heading home a Mustafa Kiiza cross to send the Cranes flying into the final.

The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating several scoring opportunities. Tanzania's keeper, Aishi Manula, made a crucial save in the 28th minute to deny Bayo a goal, and later suffered an injury after being struck by Bayo's boot.

Despite their best efforts, Tanzania were unable to find the back of the net, and Uganda Cranes emerged victorious to set up a final showdown with Eritrea on Thursday.
