Octopizzo Stands with King Kaka

Kenyan rapper Octopizzo has come out in support of fellow artist King Kaka's viral song 'Wajinga Nyinyi', which has sparked a national conversation about the state of leadership in Kenya.

On December 17, 2019, Octopizzo took to Twitter to express his solidarity with King Kaka, urging the youth to take a more active role in government.

Octopizzo, whose real name is Henry Ohanga, tweeted: 'Hauko Solo mtuangu, Walichafua Rada sasa tutasafisha.' (Translation: 'No one is above the law, we have been silenced for too long, it's time to speak out.')

He went on to say that if music is the only antidote to what ails the country, then let it be. Octopizzo also referenced the famous proverb, 'If you gaze long enough into an abyss, it will gaze back into you,' to emphasize the need for the youth to take a stand.

Octopizzo's message of support for King Kaka's song has resonated with many Kenyans, who are calling for change and an end to the current state of apathy in the country.

As the country continues to grapple with issues of corruption and poor leadership, Octopizzo's call to action has sparked a renewed sense of hope and determination among the youth.
