Anne Waiguru's Husband Warns Moses Kuria Against Abusing His Wife ¶
On December 17, 2019, Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru's husband, lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo, sent a message to Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, warning him against abusing his wife.
Waiganjo was reacting to a tweet by Kuria, where he said the National Youth Service (NYS) project could have been a great project had it not been managed by the wrong person.
Waiganjo was referring to Kuria's tweet, which many believed was a reference to Governor Waiguru, who is at the center of the NYS scandal.
Waiganjo's message to Kuria read: 'Hon Moses Kuria, stop abusing my wife. You can criticise her politics but you will stop abusing her.'
Kuria, however, sarcastically apologised to Waiganjo, saying he was referring to Josephine Kabura, the main suspect in the NYS scandal, and not his wife.
Waiganjo was not pleased with Kuria's response and had earlier sued rapper King Kaka over defamation after he mentioned his wife in his Wajinga Nyinyi song.
