On a hot coastal day, Chap Dee Boys proved their mettle, claiming the inaugural #KOT5Aside Mombasa Edition title after a convincing 2-0 win over Isco FC in the finals.
Having reached the finals by beating Samba FC, Chap Dee Boys were determined to make the most of their opportunity, and they did just that.
Founder Sir Alexas expressed his delight at the turnout and support, crediting gaming firm OdiBets and other corporate companies for their contributions to the tournament.
“The turnout was impressive despite the hot coastal weather, I would like to thank gaming firm OdiBets and other corporate companies for kitting all the teams as well as giving us the prize money for the winners,” he said.
Organized by Kenyans on Twitter, the #KOT5Aside tournament brought together 16 teams from the platform, with Chap Dee Boys looking to make a statement in the Mombasa edition.
