December 17, 2019, marked a turning point for King Kaka, as the state machinery began to turn against him. The rapper's spoken word performance had highlighted the inefficiency Kenyans face at the hands of their political leaders, who often loot public funds after getting elected.

King Kaka's words did not go unnoticed, and some of the individuals he mentioned in his performance have started to take action. Boniface Mwangi, a vocal supporter of the rapper, revealed on Twitter that King Kaka had been summoned by the DCI.

Responding to the news, Boniface Mwangi called on fellow artists and Kenyans to join King Kaka at the DCI headquarters, citing the hashtags #IstandWithKingKaka and #WaiguruSuesKingKaka.

As the situation unfolds, lawyers have begun to offer their services to King Kaka pro-bono. Nelson Havi, a prominent lawyer, confirmed his availability to defend King Kaka against the governor's ill-conceived suit.

We will continue to provide updates as the situation develops.
