Angel Wanjiru, a 16-year-old gospel artiste, has captured the hearts of many with her inspiring music. Born to BBC presenter Anne Ngugi, Angel's life journey has been marked by challenges, but she remains a beacon of hope for those facing similar struggles.

On December 17, 2019, Angel released a new song titled 'The story of my life,' where she shares her experiences of living with a life-threatening condition called congenital hydrocephalus, which affects the buildup of excess cerebrospinal fluid in the brain at birth.

Despite the odds against her, Angel's lyrics convey a powerful message of resilience and determination. She sings about the difficulties she has faced, including being bullied and called names, but also requests that people show her love and stop the stigma against her type.

Angel's song has resonated with many, and she has been recognized for her talent. Last week, she won the Founders Award at the MTM choice awards in Bristol, UK.
