Comedian Njugush and his wife Wakavinye are celebrating a major milestone in their marriage - three years since they exchanged vows. The couple marked the occasion with humorous posts on their social media pages, looking back on their special day and their journey together.
On December 16, Njugush and Wakavinye tied the knot at a colourful wedding ceremony at the PCEA Evergreen in Runda, Nairobi. The couple's love for each other is evident in their posts, with Njugush joking that if given another chance to marry, he would choose the chicken he ate on their wedding day.
"Happy given another chance to marry I would still choose that chicken tulikula pale high table??" Njugush said of his wife, who he met at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
Njugush described Wakavinye as his 'ride or die', saying they have had a good journey together and are looking forward to many more years of marriage.
"Oya mtuangu wewe ni mtrue bana tuzidi hivo hivo. Been good ride. Tujipatie miaka zingine kama 97 alafu kila mtu ajipe shugli kazi sio moja Mtuangu.!!! Tuzidi!!!!"
Wakavinye also celebrated their anniversary with a humorous post, jokingly asking Njugush if he had a surprise planned for her.
"Happy 3rd Anniversary mtuangu. @blessednjugush. On the real though, God has been faithful siamini ni miaka tatu aki??♀️. So leo boy child akona surprise ama nijisort????"
December 16, 2016, was a special day for Njugush and Wakavinye, and they are still going strong three years later.
