Samidoh's Journey to Stardom ¶
Samuel Muchoki Ndirangu, known by his stage name Samidoh, has come a long way from his humble beginnings. Born in a family that struggled with poverty, Samidoh's life took a turn for the better when he discovered his passion for music.
At just 29 years old, Samidoh has achieved what many can only dream of. He has performed in countries such as Sudan, Qatar, Bahrain, Dubai, and the United Kingdom, and has even released a hit song, 'Wendo Wi Cama,' which has gained massive airplay on local media.
But Samidoh's success story is not without its challenges. He has spoken publicly about his struggles, including having to drop out of school in class seven due to financial constraints. He also had to deal with the loss of his mother while he was in form one.
Despite these setbacks, Samidoh persevered and eventually found his calling in music. He joined his elder brother's music band and later went on to study BBIT at the Technical University of Kenya.
After college, Samidoh joined the police service, where he is currently serving as a police constable. He credits his determination and hard work for his success, saying, 'I didn't ever think I could board a plane. I was so nervous that I didn't even go to the toilet in my first flight to Dubai which was 5 hours long.'
Samidoh is married to Edith, a soft-spoken woman who he met in high school. The couple has two children, Michael and Shirleen, and is known for their loving and caring relationship.
As Samidoh continues to soar to new heights in his music career, he remains committed to his roots and is passionate about giving back to his community. He says, 'Kenya is my home and its development and growth my motivation. I have a pen and a story to tell about why #KenyaIsMagical.'
