December 17, 2019 - The stage is set for an exciting showdown in the 2019 Kisumu County Basketball League (KCBL) playoff finals, as Maseno Dukes and Kisumu Allstars prepare to face off on December 21.
Maseno Dukes, who edged out Busia Raptors 2-1 in the best-of-three semifinal playoffs, are looking to claim the title and end their season on a high note.
According to Maseno head coach Felix Anguko, the team has been training hard and working on their mistakes to remain clinical and precise in the finals.
"We have had a very tough but fruitful season and now we have the opportunity of crown it with the title. We are training very hard and working on our mistakes we have seen in the quarters and semis so that we remain clinical and precise in the finals," he said.
Kisumu Allstars, on the other hand, knocked out defending champions Baylakers 2-0 and are looking to end their losing curse in the finals.
