On December 16, 2019, South African rapper and songwriter Senzo Mfundo Vilakazi, better known as Kwesta, dropped a new track with Rick Ross that has been getting a lot of love.
The song, titled 'I Came I Saw', talks about Kwesta's upbringing in Katlehong township in South Africa, where life wasn't easy, according to the 'Ngud' hitmaker.
With the underlying message that you can still make it big despite where you come from, Kwesta says, 'I came I saw I conquered all.'
Featuring Rick Ross, the track has been well-received, with many praising Kwesta's hoarse voice and dope flow, particularly in the English verse.
Rick Ross also did a good job, adding an edgy feel to the track with his deep baritone.
The video, filmed in Kwesta's hood, was also on point, featuring amazing shots, dope choreography, and a cameo from Kwesta's grandmother.
