Published on December 16, 2019, Nairobi-based actress Bridget Achieng has opened up about her past relationship with Tanzanian musician Ali Kiba.
Speaking to Massawe Jappani, Bridget revealed that she and Ali Kiba were on different paths, which led to the end of their relationship.
'I cannot undermine him,' Bridget said. 'He had uswahili and Ustarabu mi nna haraka zangu, nikaona sitaweza. It was a good relationship and we are still friends.'
Bridget also shared how she met Ali Kiba, saying that she got a tattoo of his name after being 'love struck' by his dance moves.
'I am not a stalker, I am a go getter that is why I tattooed myself with his name,' Bridget explained. 'He looked for me and the rest is history.'
However, Bridget revealed that she could not give Ali Kiba a child as he already had three kids, which was one of the reasons their relationship ended.
'Even when I am 70, I will never regret being with him,' Bridget said. 'He is 100% romantic.'
On why her previous relationships with different men failed, Bridget explained that they wanted to take a step ahead, but she could not move on with it because she could not get pregnant.
