December 16, 2019, marks 13 years since Kenyan artiste Nazizi Hirji lost her brother Firoz in a road accident. He was then a member of the famous group Cash Money Brothers, which he had formed with Prezzo.

On the day of the accident, Nazizi was on a music tour alongside Wyre. She recalls receiving a phone call that was 'the most painful thing I had to go through in my life.'

Her brother Firoz was more than just a sibling; he was her rock. Nazizi has shared heartfelt tributes to him on social media, remembering the good times they shared and the impact of his loss.

'13 years since you and Gates left me. It doesn’t get easier like they say?,' Nazizi wrote in a poignant post. 'If i said you were the one person who had my back it would be an understatement. You would die for me without a thought. It’s empty without you, it’s been rough there times I need you more than anything and all i can do is cry.'

Despite the pain of her loss, Nazizi finds solace in the memories of her brother and the love they shared. She has also been comforted by the presence of her son Tafari, who bears a striking resemblance to his late uncle.
