Freddie Ljungberg, the current interim manager of Arsenal, has expressed his desire for the club's chiefs to make a swift decision regarding his future at the Emirates Stadium.
His plea comes after a disappointing 3-0 loss to Manchester City on December 15, 2019, which has left the North London side in ninth position on the Premier League standings with 22 points from 17 games.
Belgium international Kevin De Bruyne scored a brace, while Raheem Sterling netted the other goal in what was a comfortable win for Manchester City.
Ljungberg's hopes of permanently succeeding sacked Unai Emery have been dealt a blow, with some fans and pundits labeling him a joke.
Despite being linked with several high-profile managers, including Mikel Arteta and Mauricio Pochettino, Ljungberg believes that the indecision of Arsenal chiefs is costing the side.
"I've said to them [the board] they need to make a decision. We are here to help and the staff are trying to chip in but a decision has to be made so we can have the same resources as other clubs," Ljungberg explained according to the UK Sun.
"When I say that they say I have to wait and see," he added.
