This archive report was first published on 16 December 2019.

As we reflect on the past year, it's clear that 2019 was a year of surprises and milestones for many. One of the most notable aspects of the year was the number of predictions that came true.

On December 16, 2019, we looked back at some of the predictions that had been made earlier in the year and found that many of them had indeed come to pass.

Willy Paul's Secular Music Career

Willy Paul's music in 2018 was a subject of much debate, with many questioning whether he was a secular artist or a gospel artist. In 2019, he made the decision to fully transition to secular music, but unfortunately, his songs did not fare as well as they had in the past.

Diamond Platnumz's Fifth Child

Another prediction that came true in 2019 was Diamond Platnumz's fifth child with Kenyan model Tanasha Donna.

Diamond and Harmonize's Breakup

Harmonize and Diamond Platnumz had a strong following as a team, but they eventually broke up in 2019. The breakup was not entirely unexpected, given Harmonize's frustration with being constantly compared to Diamond.

Itumbi and Jacque Maribe's Relationship

Finally, there was the prediction that Dennis Itumbi and Jacque Maribe would date. However, this did not come to pass, as Jacque Maribe went on to publicly show off her baby daddy Eric Omondi instead.
