On December 16, 2019, a disturbing incident unfolded in Siaya County, Kenya, where a police officer's actions left his wife and colleagues shaken.

Kevin Ndeda, a police officer based in Aram Police Station in Rarieda, Siaya County, threatened his wife, Christabel Simbiri, a fellow police officer, to reveal her M-Pesa pin at gunpoint.

According to a police report, Christabel surrendered the code to her violent spouse and managed to call a colleague, Joseph Juma, who was intimidated by the perpetrator.

Joseph Juma retreated to seek reinforcement, but upon returning, the suspect had already vanished with his two-year-old son, Andykins Ndeda.

Siaya OCS Fridah Karegi confirmed the incident, stating that efforts to arrest and disarm the officer are underway.

As the police launch a manhunt for the culprit, the community remains on high alert, awaiting the safe return of the missing child and the apprehension of the suspect.
