Gavana Mutua's Life Threatened by Jubilee Leaders

On December 16, 2019, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua reported to the Kilimani Police Station, alleging that his life was in danger.

According to Mutua, he received threats from Deputy President William Ruto, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, and Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen while he was at State House in Nairobi.

Speaking to the press after filing his report, Mutua stated that his case had been assigned OB No. 50/16/12/2019 and that he required sufficient security.
