December 16, 2019, will forever be etched in the memories of two families in Kisumu, Kenya, as the day their loved ones took their own lives in a tragic act of desperation.

The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Odipo, had just returned from their wedding, a lavish affair that left them with a staggering debt of Ksh 7.9 Million.

According to sources, the newlyweds were overwhelmed by the financial burden of their wedding, which they had planned to be a grand celebration.

However, their guests failed to deliver on their promises, leaving the couple with a mountain of debt and no way to pay it off.

As they struggled to come to terms with their financial situation, the couple penned a heart-wrenching note, expressing their disappointment and shame at not being able to start their new life together in happiness.

"We are embarrassed & ashamed that we could not start our new life in happiness because you people did not make us happy as we expected," the note read.

The couple's family members have since spoken out about the events leading up to their tragic deaths, revealing that the wedding was attended by many high-profile guests, but few brought any meaningful gifts.

"90% of those invited were special guests, VVIPs & VIPs," a family member revealed, adding that the couple had boasted about the wealth of their guests, expecting them to bring gifts in millions of cash.

However, the reality was far from what they had expected, with most guests bringing only flowers and best wishes.
