Manchester City bounced back from a recent slump with a convincing 3-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates on December 15, 2019. The victory marked a return to form for the champions, who had dropped eight points in their previous five games.

Kevin De Bruyne was the star of the show, producing a masterful display that included two sublime finishes and one silky assist for Raheem Sterling. The Belgian midfielder's performance was a key factor in City's dominant display, which saw them take a 3-0 lead before halftime.

Despite a brief period with 10 men, Arsenal were unable to mount a significant challenge, and Freddie Ljungberg's side were ultimately outclassed. The defeat leaves Arsenal ninth in the table with 22 points, seven points adrift of the top four.

Manchester City's win closes the gap on second-placed Leicester City to four points ahead of their clash next week. The champions remain 14 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool, but this result will provide a much-needed boost to their title hopes.
