Manchester United's Mason Greenwood continued his impressive form by scoring a late equaliser in a 1-1 Premier League draw against Everton on December 15, 2019.

Greenwood, who had scored a brace in Manchester United's 4-0 Europa League win over AZ Alkmaar just three days prior, came on as a substitute for Jesse Lingard in the second half and levelled the score with a crisp shot in the 77th minute.

Everton had taken the lead in the 36th minute when a Victor Lindelof own-goal was awarded after a quick Video Assistant Referee (VAR) check, following a Leighton Baines corner that was mishandled by Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.

Manchester United had several chances to take the lead, but Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made several crucial saves, including a parried free kick from Marcus Rashford and a low drive from Luke Shaw.

Both sides had opportunities to win the match in the closing stages, but Pickford continued to make impressive saves, while De Gea also made a crucial stop at the other end to deny Alex Iwobi.
