Published on December 15, 2019, Norwich City manager Daniel Farke expressed optimism about the recovery of striker Teemu Pukki, who suffered a toe fracture in a Premier League match against Leicester City.

Despite playing the full 90 minutes with the injury, Pukki, the top scorer for Norwich, is expected to be fit for the next game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Farke acknowledged the concern about Pukki's injury, saying, "We're a bit concerned because he fractured his toe in the first half. He had to play the second half with lots of pain."

However, Farke is confident that Pukki will recover in time for the next match, citing the Finland international's strength and the fact that he has a week to settle down.

"I'm sure he will be fine for Wolves (next Saturday)," Farke said.

The match against Leicester City ended in a 1-1 draw, which boosted Norwich's hopes of avoiding relegation from the top flight and snapped Leicester's club-record eight-match winning streak.
