Man Kills Family Then Commits Suicide In Thika

On Sunday, a 30-year-old woman and her 11-year-old daughter were found dead in their house at Landless area in Thika, Kiambu County.

According to Thika Sub-county police commander Beatrice Kiraguri, the bodies of the deceased were discovered after neighbours reported that the woman had gone missing over the past few days and that a foul smell was emanating from her house.

Police broke into the house and found the woman and her daughter lying dead, with several stab wounds on their bodies.

Meanwhile, a man suspected to be the woman's husband was also found dead a few kilometres from the house where the deceased were killed.

The body of the man, who is believed to have committed suicide, was found hanging inside a house.

The bodies of the deceased were moved to General Kago Funeral home as investigations into the mysterious killing continue.
