Published on December 15, 2019, Omosh, a popular actor from the popular Kenyan drama series Tahidi High, has made a remarkable recovery after being involved in a car accident last month.
According to reports, Omosh was in the company of DJ Patchez, the Mixboss of a popular reggae show on Meru FM, and his wife when their car was badly damaged in the accident.
However, Omosh has been spotted at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) on Saturday during Citizen TV's 20th celebration, looking very happy and dressed in his signature acting attire.
As a recovering alcoholic, Omosh has been open about his struggles with addiction in the past. In a previous interview, he shared his harrowing story of how he used to drink excessively from the 1990s to 2016, saying:
'I drank for years from the 90s to 2016. I stopped drinking in 2017. I was 'walking dead' – I could not even eat, I could not get sleep without drinking. When I woke up, I had to drink to be able to function. Alcohol was my piriton, I had to 'toa lock.' I used to shake so badly if I did not drink. I used to drink till I ran out of cash or till I was thrown out.'
It's heartening to see Omosh resurfacing and sharing his inspiring story with the public.
