On December 14, 2019, Bandari FC bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over relegation-threatened Kisumu All Stars in a Kenya Premier League match at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Yemi Mwana gave the dockers the lead in the 18th minute, taking a 1-0 advantage at the break before Shaban Kenga's 62nd minute strike sealed Bandari's fourth win this season.

Bandari head coach Bernard Mwalala praised his charges for responding positively after their mid-week loss to Homeboyz in Kakamega.

"We played well from the start and I think the early goal disoriented All Stars' game plan. We were offensive from the start and I believe we can start rebuilding our season which has not been going well from today's win," he said.

Despite the loss, All Stars coach Henry Omino urged his team to continue fighting, saying, "It is disappointing to lose again at home. The team needs to wake up and play aggressively if we are to come out of the relegation zone."

The win saw Bandari move to 11th in the standings with 15 points, while Kisumu All Stars remained 16th with eight points on the log.
