Published on December 14, 2019, Christina Shusho, a popular gospel singer, found herself laden with heavy debts between 2016 and 2018. Her financial struggles began when she attempted to build a house with a swimming pool in Tanzania.

Shusho revealed on her YouTube channel, Reli, that she had initially wanted to purchase a house in Mikocheni, Tanzania, but the seller quoted her an expensive price. She was shown another property, which was occupied by a pastor and his family.

After negotiations, Shusho agreed to pay the pastor in installments, but this decision would have far-reaching consequences for her life. 'My life changed from there. What I had, I used to give it to the pastor for the house to finish my debt,' she said.

Shusho's financial struggles continued for three years, during which time she also faced personal challenges, including the death of her brother in 2017. This loss left her feeling isolated and uncertain about her future.

However, Shusho eventually found the strength to pray about her situation and seek a solution. She has since settled her debts and is back on track, with her income tripling after she finished paying off her debts.
