Woman Storms MCA's Wedding, Claims Husband ¶
On December 13, 2019, a dramatic scene unfolded at a wedding ceremony in Kerongo, Nyamira, after a woman named Janet Omwamba disrupted the proceedings.
Omwamba, who claimed the groom, George Morara, was her husband, caused a commotion at the wedding of the Nyamira County Assembly representative.
According to reports, Omwamba had arrived at the ceremony with police officers and presented a court document that nullified the marriage, citing that Morara was already her husband.
As the news spread, the wedding guests were left stunned, with some trying to calm Omwamba down while others attempted to escort her out of the church.
However, Omwamba refused to budge, insisting that she would not allow the marriage to take place.
"I have the court document that nullifies this marriage. I will not allow this to happen," Omwamba declared before leaving the scene.
George Morara, the groom, was left reeling from the unexpected turn of events, stating, "I am shocked and hurt by what has happened. I have nothing to say for now. I am feeling embarrassed,"
It was later revealed that Morara had been planning to marry his girlfriend, Pamela Akinyi, and had even posted about their engagement on social media.
However, Omwamba's claims have left many questioning the validity of the marriage and the relationship between Morara and his alleged wife.
