December 14, 2019, marks a significant milestone for Citizen TV, Kenya's most popular television station, as it celebrates 20 years of broadcasting.
The celebrations kicked off on Saturday with top media personalities from Royal Media Services hosting fans at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) from 10am.
Attendees included Loulou Hassan, Rashid Abdalla, Mwanahamisi Hamadi, Willis Raburu, Shix Kapienga, Kambua, Holy Dave, Inspekta Mwala, Hype Noel, Papa Shirandula, and Willy M. Tuva, among others.
Later that day, renowned host Fred Obachi Machoka hosted the popular Roga Roga show at KICC, featuring talented musician Suzanna Owiyo, the Kenya Police band, and Bilenge Musica du Congo.
Other notable artistes in the lineup included Jovial, Jabidii, Moji Short Baba, Masterpiece, Ochunglo Family, Dufla, Zzero Sufuri, Kenrazy, and Sossun.
Cast members from Maria, Tahidi High and Papa Shirandula also attended the family fun day.
Adults were charged Ksh.500 for tickets, while children paid Ksh. 200.
The celebrations culminated with the popular One Love reggae show hosted by Talia Oyando and Coco Sobo Moto from 10pm till late.
