NMG Editor Pamella Sittoni Appointed to World Editors Forum Advisory Board

On December 11, 2019, the World Editors Forum (WEF) announced the appointment of seven new members to its advisory board, including Nation Media Group Executive Editor Pamella Sittoni.

Ms Sittoni was among the appointees announced at a board meeting in Paris, France. The other appointees include Jane Barrett from Reuters, Catarina Carvalho from Diário de Notícias, Brian McGrory from Boston Globe, Esther N from The Star, Tammy Tam from South China Morning Post, and David Walmsley from Globe and Mail.

WEF President Warren Fernandez congratulated the new advisory board members, saying: “We are thrilled to have these distinguished editors join the Board. They bring expertise and diversity and will add to our discussions on the challenges we face in the media.”

Ms Sittoni's appointment is a testament to her experience and commitment to journalism. The WEF is housed within the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA).
