Published on December 13, 2019, the Infinix S5 has been making waves in the tech world with its impressive features and affordable price tag. As a seasoned reviewer, I was excited to put this device through its paces and see if it lives up to the hype.

At first glance, the Infinix S5 looks like any other Infinix device. However, upon closer inspection, you'll notice the subtle tweaks and improvements in the design department. The 'Infinity-O' design approach, which features a punch-hole camera, is a welcome change from the teardrop notch of its predecessor. The Quetzal Cyan color model I reviewed is particularly stunning, with a glint that catches the eye.

One of the standout features of the Infinix S5 is its excellent performance. With a variant featuring 4GB of RAM, this device flies through everything you throw at it. I was impressed by how smoothly it handled demanding tasks, and I can only imagine how the 6GB RAM variant would perform.

Another area where the Infinix S5 shines is its battery life. Unlike some other Infinix devices, this one doesn't compromise on power. With a full charge, you can expect to get a full day's use out of it, and possibly even some extra juice for the next day.

Of course, no review would be complete without mentioning the software. While the Infinix S5's XOS operating system has its quirks, it's clear that Infinix has made an effort to improve it. The addition of features like auto-switching to mobile data when Wi-Fi signal is weak is a welcome touch.

Overall, the Infinix S5 is a surprisingly impressive device that checks all the right boxes. With its good design, excellent performance, good cameras, and long battery life, it's a must-consider for anyone in the market for a new smartphone.
