On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Black Mamba and National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) will face off against their respective opponents in the men's Kenya Handball Federation National League at the Kaloleni grounds.
Both teams had previously failed to participate in the East and Central Africa Handball Club Championships in Kigali due to financial constraints.
Black Mamba will take on Nanyuki, while NCPB will face Jomo Kenyatta University Agricultural Technology (JKUAT).
As of the match, Black Mamba held second place with 22 points from 11 matches, while NCPB occupied third place with 18 points from nine matches.
Black Mamba coach Martin Abunde expressed confidence in his team's abilities, stating, 'We are aware the league will take a break after this weekend's matches and probably resume on January 10. And therefore we want to go to the break unbeaten. While the odds are for us, we will not be complacent.'
Nanyuki player Paul Musembi vowed to give a good account of themselves, saying, 'We come up against a tough side but we have prepared well and we hope to put up a good performance.'
