Published on December 13, 2019, a video surfaced on social media showing Diamond Platnumz's father, Mzee Abdul Naseeb, borrowing money from Esma, a friend or acquaintance, to cover his bus fare after attending his daughter's wedding.
According to social media reports, Mzee Abdul was invited to his daughter's big day but did not have enough money for his transport. After the ceremony, he opted to borrow Esma's money to get back home, as his son was busy with the wedding guests.
This incident comes just a few months after Mzee Abdul was caught on camera being blocked from using an entrance to his son's dining room. In the earlier incident, Diamond Platnumz's bodyguards turned him away after he tried to join his son and Tanasha, who were dining at their home during Naseeb Abdul's 40th birthday celebrations.
