December 13, 2019, was a day of celebration for Queen Darleen, the daughter of musician Diamond Platinumz, as she tied the knot with a wealthy businessman in Tanzania.
However, the joy was short-lived as some of Diamond's fans took to social media to criticize and mock Queen Darleen for her decision to marry a second husband.
But in a surprising turn of events, Diamond's father, Mzee Abdul, has come to the defense of his daughter, saying that she made a wise decision and that it's not a big deal in Islam for a man to marry up to four wives.
"I'm happy that my daughter has found a husband, and I don't see anything wrong with her decision to marry a second time," Mzee Abdul said in an interview with Wasafi TV.
"I'm surprised that people are criticizing her for this, when in fact, Islam allows a man to marry up to four wives," he added.
