Published on December 13, 2019, Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho has shared her harrowing experience of being in debt for three years, a situation she attributes to a pastor's involvement in her land purchases between 2016 and 2018.

Shusho, who has a new YouTube channel called Reli, revealed that she initially wanted to build a house in Mikocheni, Tanzania, but the seller quoted an expensive price. She was shown another property, which was being lived in by a pastor, and she eventually purchased it.

However, things took a turn when Shusho was supposed to pay the pastor in installments, which led to a change in her lifestyle. She claimed that the pastor became stubborn and she was living a life of owing him money.

Shusho continued to pay the debt and eventually finished the payment, allowing the pastor to leave. She then wanted to rent out the house but struggled to find a buyer due to the location.

Shusho's situation worsened when her brother died in 2017, leaving her feeling alone and unable to move forward. She kept her financial struggles a secret and felt ashamed about her situation.

However, Shusho eventually decided to pray about her situation and has since settled her debts. She revealed that her income tripled after she finished paying off her debts.
