Queen Darleen's marriage to billionaire businessman Isihaka has sparked controversy, with some questioning her decision to become a second wife.

However, her father Mzee Abdhul is not having it, speaking out in her defense and citing Islamic teachings that allow men to marry up to four women.

Speaking to Wasafi TV, Mzee Abdhul expressed his disappointment that instead of congratulating his daughter, people have chosen to criticize her for her choice.

"You know marriage is a very difficult thing. I am happy for her and people should be too," he said. "I never thought she would be married because of her music but here she is. She is just fine. I am wondering why people are making noise about her being married as a second wife. In Islam, there is nothing like one wife. A man can have as many as four."

His comments come just a week after Queen Darleen's private exotic Islamic wedding.
