Diamond's Father Defends Queen Darleen's Marriage Decision

Published on December 13, 2019

Diamond Platinumz's father, Mzee Abdul, has come to the defense of his daughter Queen Darleen after she married as a second wife.

Speaking to Wasafi TV, Mzee Abdul stated that people should be happy for his daughter and not condemn her for her decision.

He added that Islam allows a man to marry up to four wives, and therefore, Queen Darleen's marriage is not a cause for concern.

''You know marriage is a very difficult thing. I am happy for her and people should be too. I never thought she would be married because of her music but here she is,'' Mzee Abdul stated.

He also pointed out that the same people who are condemning Queen Darleen would have been the ones to make noise if she had not walked down the aisle at a certain age.

Queen Darleen's marriage to billionaire businessman Isihaka came as a surprise to many, as she had never shared any information about her dating before.

Mzee Abdul's defense of his daughter's decision has sparked a mixed reaction from the public, with some people supporting him and others condemning Queen Darleen's choice.
