Didmus Barasa Predicts Future Role in Ruto's Government ¶
Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has expressed confidence that he will become the Interior CS under President William Ruto in 2022.
Speaking at a function where he was thanking his nephew who is serving as the Governor of Bungoma County, Barasa said he will support the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) because it will give MPs the opportunity to become Cabinet Secretaries.
"You should be the first to support the BBI because it will give you MPs the opportunity to become Cabinet Secretaries," Barasa told the residents.
He added that he will be the Interior CS under President Ruto in 2022, and that he will work closely with the President to ensure that the country remains peaceful after the 2022 general elections.
Barasa is one of the key supporters of President Ruto from Western Kenya who has been working closely with him to ensure that he wins the presidency in 2022.
