Chelsea's Frank Lampard has been handed a £150m war chest to bolster his squad ahead of the January transfer window, with the Blues boss eyeing a number of high-profile signings.
According to reports, Lampard has identified up to five transfer targets, with a priority on signing a striker to replace Olivier Giroud, who is expected to leave the club in January.
Among the players on Lampard's radar are CSKA Moscow's Fyodor Chalov, Lyon's Moussa Dembéle, and Red Bull Leipzig's Timo Werner, as well as Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.
However, Lampard will face stiff competition in landing Sancho, with Liverpool and Manchester United also linked with the prolific English winger.
With the January transfer window just around the corner, Chelsea fans will be eagerly awaiting news of any potential signings, and it remains to be seen whether Lampard will be able to bring in the players he needs to strengthen his squad.
